Amy Walter is a Senior Event Manager at Atlassian, a software company that provides collaboration tools, including Jira and Confluence, to teams all across the world that help them to unleash their full potential. In her role, she drives the Event Marketing team’s technology, audience acquisition, and measurement strategies for their global event portfolio. She helped build the first-ever Atlassian European user conference in 2017 as the program lead and has continued in this role for the 2018 event which will return to Europe this fall with over 2,000 attendees.
Prior to joining Atlassian, Amy had extensive experience, on both the event marketer and agency side, executing events and marketing campaigns for companies in the high-tech, healthcare, public utility, and hospitality industries. Her focus on operational excellence paired with her data-centric approach has brought a unique perspective to all the programs she’s managed.
Amy earned a BS in Marketing and Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno and currently resides in San Francisco, California.
